winter essentials

I still can’t get over the view behind the window…there is freaking snow outside. Finally!!! After all the waiting, winter shows her real visage.
Maybe frosty ears tweak my mood but the joy is too great to complain…not now anyway.
Now I just want to enjoy each moment…share some photo from Sunday’s walk…. and give you a glimpse of my essentials of the moment…

• a coat from H&M (I could literally live in this)…I Love the colour and the collar which gives me a cosy and chic look ( or so I imagine) but requires a few more layers to wear if it is -20 degrees outside
• a pair of good socks; they are so soft and so slidy on the floor but they keep my feet so warm
• a pair of fingerless mittens because I will never learn the lesson that i should wear proper gloves ; that’s why i repeatedly cover my hands in tons of hand creams
• a knitted beanie simply because i like it and of course because it keeps my body heat more stable
• a pair of grey skinny jeans; one of the other items in my wardrobe which i wear on rotation . Can easily sneak into a casual or more official look.
• a super soft mohair sweater; my favourite thing at the moment and the bigger the better
• and last but not least, my perfume…if you want to know what I will instantly grab from my cosmetics bag, that’s the item…I can’t live without it….
