new puppy on the block

Finally finally finally …this is the word that’s in repetition mode recently…having our own puppy.
I still can’t believe it and lately I have to pinch myself that “finally” my dream came true.
I have dreamt about this for ages but the timing never seemed right. Now since we have the chance to settle down by avoiding all the travelling around we decided to welcome a new member in our small family. His name is Humo and he is a Portuguese Water Dog.

He is just 3 months old but already shows  an incredible ability to learn. Over last couple of days he has been getting used to so many different things which scared him a lot in the first instance . Step by step that’s what we say..
But it’s not just for him to figure it all out. We need to adapt to a new routine in our lives. Probably slow down a bit and plan more in advance. Our independence will be more restricted and we will have to take some responsibility.
There are no regrets what so ever because this small creature already brought so much happiness , enjoyment and incredible dose of love to our lives…last sunday we took a walk to the nearest harbour where our Humo had such a blast…there was so much running, sniffing around, meeting a few dogs and in the end there was massive tiredness.
We were kind of planning together to have an outfit post but for some reason Humo found something more interesting and ignored the whole concept…;) maybe next time…
